In this area lie small villages with ancient origins, nestled in the meadows at the base of Punta Leissé. Offering stunning panoramic views, the villages are in close proximity to the central valley of Aosta. Surrounding the area are the valleys of Cogne, Valsavarenche, Val di Rhemes, Valgrisenche, along with several prominent peaks like Becca di Nona, Mont Emilius, Pointe de la Pierre, Grivola, Ciarforon, Becca di Monciair, and the Rutor glacier.
Plan to arrive in the afternoon in Vetan, the municipality of Saint-Pierre (AO).

After breakfast, meet at the equestrian center at 9.00 am. Assignment of the horses and departure for the Vallone di Vertosan.
Lunch break with “bocconata alla valdostana” and tasting of various typical local products.
Depart in the afternoon, descending towards the village of Vedeun. Then, on to Vens, where we will spend the night at the Albergo Vagneur.
Everyone in the saddle by 9:00 am.
Today, we will climb towards the high alpine pastures and we will stop for a typical lunch in a suggestive mountain stone house.
In the afternoon, we’ll go back to the valley and the Pesse alpine pasture, and then we’ll go up again to the Refuge Mont Fallere where we’ll spend the night.
Depart at 9.00 a.m. for the last day in the saddle.
We will descend towards Thouraz where we will stop for a last lunch before returning to Vetan at the stables.
