At 16:00 an excursion to the Old Beech Wood of Monte Cimino, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will commence, marking the beginning of a trekking adventure. This trekking activity is classified as a Type E route (Hiking), presenting a moderate level of difficulty suitable for individuals in good physical condition and accustomed to such activities. Covering a distance of approximately 10-12 km with an elevation gain of around 300 m, participants will explore the picturesque surroundings. The trekking experience will conclude at 7:00 PM, followed by a return to the accommodation.
Subsequently, dinner will be served at a local restaurant at 8:00 PM, providing an opportunity for relaxation and culinary enjoyment before retiring for the night.

Located near Vitorchiano, known as “The suspended village,” are the remnants of an ancient settlement that originated in Roman times and continued to flourish into the Middle Ages under the influence of nearby Viterbo. Exploration of these historical sites will commence from the heart of Vitorchiano, leading participants on a captivating journey through woods and hazel groves, retracing a circular route that showcases the locations immortalized in Mario Monicelli’s film “Brancaleone alle crociate,” starring the renowned Vittorio Gassman. The day’s explorations will conclude at 5:00 PM before returning to the accommodation.
An evening meal at a local restaurant at 8:00 PM will offer a delightful conclusion to the day’s adventures.
After breakfast, the day will commence with a journey to the Chia Waterfalls, Chia Ring, and the Etruscan Pyramid, with a rendezvous with the guide at the site around 9:00 AM.
Embarking from the quaint village of Chia, participants will descend along a scenic path leading to the gorge below, offering a Type E hiking experience of moderate difficulty covering approximately 12 km with an elevation change of around 200 m.
A packed lunch will be enjoyed at 1:00 PM before heading back to Bomarzo at 2:30 PM, accompanied by an environmental guide. The village and the renowned Park of the Monsters of Bomarzo will be explored, providing a glimpse into their historical and artistic significance.
