The region hosts some of the country’s most recognized Denominations of Origin, from the legendary Ribera del Dueroto the innovative wineries of Rueda and Toro. Each vineyard is a living testament to traditions dating back to Roman times.

Day 1: Madrid -Quintanilla – Peñafiel -Valbuena

Departure from Madrid to Finca La Planta in Quintanilla de Onésimo. Visit the vineyards, the hunting reserve, and the millennial oak tree. Tasting of three wines and lunch with roast suckling lamb. Wine Museum in Peñafiel Castle. Dinner at Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena.

Day 2: Route of the Castles -Rueda

Visit to the castles of Cuéllar and Coca. Mudéjar miniature park in Olmedo and lunch at El Caballero de Olmedo. Cheese making workshopin Campoveja. Visit and tasting at Bodegas Yllera in Rueda.

Day 3: Medina de Rioseco – Toro -Tiedra

Visit Medina de Rioseco and boat trip along the Canal de Castilla. Toro city and Bodegas Museo Páfos del Rey. Lunch at Chivo Restaurant. Arrival at Hotel Ibersol La Casona de Andrea in Tiedra.

Day 4: Tiedra and Cigales

Visit Urueña, the “House of Books,” and a tasting at Heredad de Urueña. Finca Museum in Cigales to learn about a traditional winery. Free afternoon to enjoy nature.

Day 5: Los Arribes and Zamora

Environmental cruise through Los Arribes del Duero. Tasting at Bodegas Bruneo de Fermoselle. Visit Zamora: Cathedral, walls, and old town.

Day 6: El Bierzo

Departure to Cacabelos and visit the 18th-century Palacio de Canedo. Organic farming and tasting of Mencía and Godellowines. Visit Astorga: Gaudí Palace and Chocolate Museum.

Day 7: Arévalo – Segovia -Madrid

Medieval town of Arévalo. Segovia: Aqueduct, Cathedral, and Alcázar. Typical Segovian lunch with suckling pig. Return to Madrid and end of the experience.
