In the morning you will visit Church of St. Anthony: St. Anton – one of the most revered and beloved Italian saints, which is why people call the temple the shorter “Basilica del Santo”. It is one of the largest churches in the world, visited annually by more than 6.5 million pilgrims, making it one of the most respected shrines. Despite this, the basilica does not have the status of a cathedral. The basilica houses the relics of Saint Anthony of Padua and his tomb. The Basilica del Santo is located in a square named after the saint (La Piazza del Santo). The basilica is governed by the Franciscans of the dell’Ordine dei frati minori. As of 2021, the basilica is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will continue to the beautiful Villa Rotonda, an architectural marvel designed by the famous architect Andrea Palladio. We will walk through the interior and gardens and enjoy the harmony of its design (surcharge 10 eur). Our next stop is Verona, the city of lovers. Upon arrival, our guide will take you through the historic center of Verona. You’ll see world-famous attractions, the Areeno di Verona, Bra Square, delle Erbe Square, and other cultural jewels of the city, including Julia’s House. After touring the city, you will have some free time to explore the shopping streets, where you can taste local delicacies, buy souvenirs and enjoy real Italian life.

Returning home: In the evening we will head back home, full of unforgettable memories of our magical trip to Italy.
