Embark on an incredible excursion to Venice with a catamaran from Piran. During the journey, our experienced guides will delve into the history of the enchanting city, the rise and fall of the Serenissima Republic, and outline the program awaiting us upon arrival. Once we sail into the Venetian lagoon, a new world unfolds before your eyes — canals replace roads, boats take the place of cars, trucks, and buses, and each building adds to the intricate tapestry of this vibrant city. After a scenic 45-minute sail through the lagoon, we will dock at San Basilio port by 11:00. Following passport control and disembarkation, you can choose to opt for a boat transfer to the city center for a small fee. Alternatively, you can walk with one of our guides to St. Mark’s Square, which takes about 40 minutes. If you decide on the boat transfer to St. Mark’s Square, you will enjoy a guided tour along the way, passing by notable landmarks such as Elton John’s house, the “Children’s Prison” orphanage, the church “Il Redentore,” the Danieli Hotel (featured in the James Bond film “From Russia with Love”), and the grand entrance to the Canale Grande.

Upon Arrival: Explore St. Mark’s Square with our guides who will provide insights on key buildings like St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Clock Tower, Belltower, and more.
Free Time: After the guided tour, you are free to wander to the Rialto Bridge. We recommend considering optional activities like an organized lunch at a local restaurant with drinks included, a romantic gondola ride through secret canals, or a water taxi ride through Canale Grande back to the port. In case of Grand Canal closures, an alternative panoramic boat ride to San Basilio port along the southern lagoon is offered, where you will pass by various islands and historical sites. All optional activities can be arranged with your guide during the morning sail to Venice.
The departure from Venice is scheduled for 5:15 p.m., passing through the city center to Lido island, known for hosting the oldest film festival annually in September. Following the exit from the lagoon, a sail across the Adriatic Sea awaits before arriving at the original port in the evening.
