DAY 1: ARRIVAL

Once you land in Palermo, you will find our driver waiting for you at the terminal exit. Once the group is full we will immediately begin with a tour of Palermo’s historic center. On foot we will visit monuments and churches and explore the large outdoor food market and eat Palermo’s famous street food. After that we will go to check into the hotel where you can relax and rest for the next day.

DAY 2: PALERMO — CEFALU’ (70KM) — MESSINA (160 KM)

On the second day we will wake up early and set off for Cefalu’, a charming little fishing village nestled on a small bay in a crystal clear sea. Here we can relax all morning sunbathing, take a walk or a swim, or explore the quaint and picturesque streets of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. After having lunch, we will get back on the road to head for Messina, the city on the strait, where we will spend the afternoon. After checking into the hotel and getting refreshed, our guide will be waiting to take us to discover the wonders of the historic center, walking among its Greek and Roman ruins and its charm as a seaside city. After the tour the evening will be free for dinner and personal time.

Return to the hotel and accommodation overnight.

DAY 3: MESSINA — SCILLA ( 22 KM)

In the morning we will have free t ime to visit Messina again at leisure, after which we will leave for Scilla, Calabria, where we will arrive after crossing the Strait of Messina by boat. We will arrive in Scylla in the late morning: a small town capable of enchanting for its natural beauty and also for its noble past. Aftern check – in at the hotel we will enjoy the afternoon on the beach of Scylla, close to its ancient castle.

DAY 4: SCILLA — MORMANNO(250 KM) — SALERNO (160 KM)

This morning, after breakfast, we will move to cross Calabria in the direction of Campania. En route, we will stop in a historic Calabrian village, Mormanno, where we will have time to relax and have lunch. After lunch, we will coninue our journey to Salerno. Once we arrive and check-in at the hotel, our guide will take us on a tour of Salerno, both its medieval and modern parts, telling us about the history of this very influential port city.

DAY 5: SALERNO — RAVELLO — AMALFI — POSITANO — SORRENTO (56 KM)

This day will start early and take us on a fantastic tour of the entire Amalfi Coast, world-famous for its great natural beauty, characterized by terraced vineyards and orchards and towns of great architectural and artistic value, including Amalfi and Ravello. Our tour will take us to discover some of its jewels. We will pass through Vietri sul Mare, where we will stop to take photos and admire the scenery, then continue on to Ravello, where we will visit the impressive Villa Rufolo with its gardens. After that we will have an unmissable experience, the lemon tour! We will go directly among the world-famous plantations and walk together with the local guide who will explain the importance of this plant and its uses, we will then have lunch at Cantina “Miseria e Nobilta'” where we will have a typical lunch under an porch of lemons and citrus fruits. After lunch, our guide will take us on a discovery of Amalfi, in ancient times one of the most important maritime republics and therefore charged with history. After that, we will get back in the car and drive to Positano, the last stop of the day and where we will admire the sunset on its inlets and houses set on the cliffs, which are worth its worldwide fame. After the tour the evening will be free for dinner and personal time.

After it, we will finally drive to Sorrento, where we will spent the night.

DAY 6: SORRENTO — CAPRI — SORRENTO (17 KM)

After a good breakfast, we will pick up the traghetto take us to the island of Capri in less than 30 minutes. The island has been a tourist resort since the days of the Roman Republic, the island offers several spectacular attractions, including the Blue Grotto, the Monte Solaro Chairlift and the Faraglioni rocks. With our guide we will have the opportunity to tour the island, its two towns Capri and Anacapri and admire its beauty with a boat excursion. We will head with a gozzo to the Faraglioni, and admire the island from a special perspective. Then we will move by mini bus to the highest part of the island, Anacapri, where it will be possible to enjoy incredible views, stroll through the small village, reach the summit of Mount Solaro by chairlift or simply relax while tasting delicious local specialties. We will then reach the center of Capri, the heart of the island, where the famous “Piazzetta” is located, passing through the small alleys characterized by luxurious boutiques, we will reach the Gardens of Augustus, which offer the best view of the island’s iconic stacks to leave you hearthless. After the visit, we will have a typical lunch included, and in the afternoon we will return to the mainland in Sorrento.

Once in Sorrento, our guide will take us around the city. We will start by walking along a typical citrus grove, and then look out onto a terrace overlooking the sea. We will reach the main square, dedicated to the poet Tasso, to admire one of the most photographed abandoned places in the world: the “Vallone dei Mulini”. We will enter the alleys of the historic center, to discover its most important monuments including: the cathedral, the “Sedil Dominova” and the cloister of San Francesco with its panoramic gardens. After admiring the typical “postcard” on the Gulf of Naples, we will continue our experience reaching the ancient fishing village of Marina Grande. The timeless atmosphere and the pastel colors of this suggestive place will be the right conclusion of the visit to Sorrento.

DAY 7: SORRENTO — POMPEI — NAPOLI (55 KM)

After brekfast, we will drive in direction of the magnificient Pompeii, where our private guide is waiting for us. We will start from the main entrance of the city: Porta Marina together was an archeologist.With the Vesuvius in the distance, we will talk about the last moments of Pompeii, the catastrophe and thehistory of excavations. We will pass through the Basicila, the forum with the market and the main temples. We will walk along the decumanus observing closely and from the inside the suburban baths (spectacular and recently opened!) without forgetting to pay attention to the various erotic symbols scattered around the ancient city and inside the lupanare. The visit will continue among shops, bakeries, theatres and anecdotes and stories of Inhabitants and gladiators.

After the visit will be over, we will drive again to our latest destination of this trip, the city of Neaples. Here, after the check-in to our hotel, we will walk around the stunning and vibrant historical centre. We will walk from Piazza Bellini, gateway to the ancient centre, where a section of the walls of the Greek city of Neapolis is still visible. We will then go along the ancient Decumani, Via dei Tribunali and the famous “Spaccanapoli”. Passing through San Gregorio Armeno, the street of Shepherds, Cribs and Arti sans . We will then arri ve at the beautiful church of San Lorenzo Maggiore, seat of the Knights Templar and one of the best examples of Gothic in the city. If the participant s want, they can al so go on a visit to the Hypogeum and the Church of the Soul s in Purgator y or Santa Luciella, unique places in the world, little known and fascinating like few others.

The evening is free to enjoy the culinary wonders of this city, its soul and its unmistakable street food.

DAY 8: NAPLES — END OF SERVICES

This day is completely free to continue exploring the city of Naples, you can head towards Chiaia, the Spanish quarters or arrive at the castle of Sant’Elmo, from which you can enjoy an incomparable view of the city. Or you can dedicate yourself to the discovery of food and
relaxation, strolling through the historic streets with your wallet pizza or freshly baked “sfogliatella“. Whichever way you decide to end it, you will carry the memory of this splendid holiday with you for the months to come.

At 16:00 pm, our driver will come to pick you up to drive you to the airport, where you will flight home.
