Arrival in Banjul International Airport.
Welcome and transfer to a middle-class hotel.
Dinner.
After breakfast, pick up starts by 8:00 in the morning for sightseeing.
First, we drive to Serrekunda to visit the tie and dye Batik Factory where we will learn about this art. Then, we drive through the heart of Serrekunda, which is the biggest city in the Gambia before going to Banjul, the capital city. The first stop to Banjul will be the National Museum that will teach you about the history and culture of The Gambia. From there, then continue to Albert Market, which is a daily market with clothes, food, African Souvenirs….etc.
From the market, we drive for lunch before we start driving by the South Bank to Baobolong Camp.
We will drive to Farafeni for a stop to Wassu Stones Circles before driving to Baobolong Camp in Georgetown (McCarthy) for diner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will drive to Tambacounda through Wellingara Border with a stop at a local market.
Lunch arrival at Re lais de Tamba Hotel. Guest has an option of enjoying the sunset by the pool with cold beer or a guided walk tour in Tambacounda.
Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Wassadou Camp in Dar Salam (the National Park of Senegal).
After lunch, rest in the afternoon. Then, starts a boat trip on the river to look for birds and hippos.
Back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, we join the 4 x 4 truck for the safari drive at the Niokolo-Koba Park which is 1 million hectares big and we can see antelopes, bush pigs, baboons and water boar to name a few.
Return for lunch and in the afternoon, walk around the camp before dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, we depart Wassadou to drive toward Basse. At Bassang, we join the boat trip to cruise to Jang Jang Burreh for around 4 hours.
Lunch will be served on the boat and this will be a real relaxing trip. While cruising, we can see crocodiles and birds.
Arrival in Jang Jang Camp for dinner and overnight. Jang Jang Burreh Camp is a typical African basic camp with no electricity.
With an early breakfast, we will drive to Tendaba where we will have lunch and boat trip before proceeding to Kanilai in Foni, which is a Jola village and the birth place of the former president Yahya Jammeh.
Dinner and overnight at Sindola Lodge.
From Kanilai, drive back to Kombo with a stop at Birkima Craft Market to buy our last souvenirs to love ones back home.
Drop at the airport or at the extension hotel for people staying.
