DAY 1: TAORMINA AREA

Upon arrival at Catania Airport, participants may opt for a group transfer to the hotel after collecting their luggage. The day allows for leisure time as there are no scheduled activities. Room availability begins after 14:00. Guests are encouraged to explore the city.

Day 2: ETNA (INCLUDED)

Commence the day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking with the tour escort to Mount Etna, the highest peak in Sicily and Europe’s most active volcano. The surrounding area forms the “Park of Etna,” offering diverse vegetation and landscapes en route to the “Silvestri Craters” (approximately 1,900 meters).

Optionally, participants can partake in a jeep and cableway excursion (additional cost). Following a sampling of local Sicilian delicacies, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: SYRACUSE (INCLUDED)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Syracuse, renowned for its captivating archaeological sites like the Archeological Park, Roman Amphitheatre, Greek Theatre, Ear of Dionysus, Cave of the Cordari, and the historic Island of Ortigia with its remarkable cathedral.

Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: WEDNESDAY: BOAT TOUR “GROTTA AZZURRA” (INCLUDED) and AFTERNOON: TAORMINA WALKING FOOD EXPERIENCE (OPTIONAL)

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. The morning features a boat tour to Grotta Azzurra, showcasing the scenic coastline from Giardini/Naxos to Taormina. Participants can explore caves, including the famous “Grotta Azzurra,” and the stunning Nature Reserve of Isola Bella.

In the afternoon, guests have the option to join a gastronomic tour in Taormina, sampling Sicilian specialties along a leisurely walk guided by a local food expert. The tour encompasses six stops through Taormina’s charming streets.

Day 5: TRAIN TO SORRENTO AREA

After breakfast at the hotel, a group transfer is provided to the train station for a journey to Naples.

Day 6: POSITANO & AMALFI (INCLUDED)

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel. Explore the Amalfi Coast via a mini-van, accompanied by an English or German-speaking driver, visiting Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Each stop offers unique attractions, including the Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Positano, the Cathedral in Amalfi, and the Festival garden of Villa Rufolo in Ravello.

Conclude the day with dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: CAPRI (OPTIONAL)

Following breakfast at the hotel, guests can enjoy a leisurely day exploring Sorrento independently or opt for a full-day excursion to Capri. The optional trip includes a boat tour around Capri’s highlights, such as the Marvelous Grotto, White Grotto, Green Grotto, Faraglioni Rocks, and more. Participants have free time on the island to explore its beauty.

Return to Sorrento for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: DEPARTURE

Conclude the trip with breakfast at the hotel and a group transfer to Naples Airport, marking the end of the services provided.
