Day 1: ARRIVAL — TREKKING SAN BARTOLO PARK

Upon arrival at Ancona Airport, a private car with a designated driver will transport us to our lodging in Ancona. Our journey will lead us close to Pesaro, where, post-lunch, a seasoned nature guide will accompany us on a leisurely half-day trek through the Monte San Bartolo Park near Pesaro. This excursion offers panoramic views of the sea and a chance to explore the historic village of Fiorenzuola di Focara, mentioned in Dante’s Divine Comedy, with the option to descend to the beach below.

Afterward, we return to Ancona for an overnight stay.

Day 2: BOAT TRIP ON CONERO RIVIERA

Commence the day with breakfast at the hotel. Today’s highlight is the Regional Park of Monte Conero, a natural oasis enveloping Monte Conero, a 572-meter high extension of Mediterranean vegetation overlooking the sea. An enchanting boat excursion awaits us to explore this coastal gem. Witnessing Monte Conero from the sea is a captivating experience. A private boat ride offers a full-day adventure along the Conero Riviera, allowing us to revel in the region’s natural beauty. Enjoy opportunities for swimming and savor a lunch onboard featuring local delicacies. In the afternoon, return to the hotel after leisure time in Numana.

Spend the second night in Ancona.

Day 3: FRASASSI CAVES — TREKKING AT FORO DEGLI OCCHIALONI — VALADIER TEMPLE IN THE CAVE

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Genga by private car with a dedicated driver. Explore the renowned Frasassi Caves (inclusive of tickets), a karstic complex boasting some of Europe’s most spectacular underground passageways. The Ancona Abyss stands out as one of the world’s largest underground chambers, while the crystallized lake captivates with its vibrant colors and mesmerizing stalagmites. Subsequently, a guide will lead us on a gentle hike near the caves, unveiling awe-inspiring vistas and the unique “Foro degli Occhialoni.” The climax of the day will be the Valadier Temple, a neoclassical sanctuary nestled inside a cave, revered as one of the region’s most iconic sites.

Return to Ancona for the third night’s accommodation.

Day 4: DEPARTURE
